Lakeland Janitorial Cleaning 22 Years Serving the St. Croix Valley · Insured & Bonded

What to Expect: Your First 30 Days in Lakeland

How a new janitorial program starts, what happens in the first month, and what we commit to in writing before the crew arrives.

22 years of janitorial work in Washington County has taught us that the first 30 days of a new program are where most contractor relationships fail. The scope was vague. The crew was different every week. Nobody called to check in. We have built our process around those failure modes specifically.

1

Inquiry and Initial Review

You call (866) 958-8773 or submit the quote form. A team member reviews your submission and follows up within one business day to confirm your facility type, square footage, and the service scope you need. If we cannot serve your location or your facility type, we tell you that at this stage rather than later.

2

On-Site Walkthrough

We visit your facility. We walk every area that will be cleaned, count the restrooms, assess the floor types, identify any access requirements, and note any areas to exclude. We ask about your occupancy schedule, your security procedures, and who on your team is the day-to-day point of contact. This typically takes 30–45 minutes for facilities under 10,000 sq ft.

3

Written Scope and Quote

Within two business days of the walkthrough, you receive a written scope of work and a price. The scope document lists every area, every task, and the frequency for each. It also states the crew assignment approach, the consumable supply terms, and the response-time commitment. A certificate of insurance is included at no charge. Nothing in this document is vague. If you have questions about any line, we answer them before you agree to anything.

4

Crew Assignment and Orientation

Once you approve the scope, we assign your crew. The same team returns to your facility each visit — this is not a rotating pool. Before the first clean, the assigned crew walks the facility with your point of contact to confirm access, understand any tenant-specific preferences, and locate supply storage. We do not send crew to a new building cold.

5

First Clean

The crew works from the written scope. The first clean often takes longer than subsequent visits — every building has detail work that was not visible in the walkthrough, and the crew handles it on the first pass rather than skipping it. You are not charged extra for this. It is part of starting a program correctly.

6

30-Day Check-In

A scheduled call at the end of the first month. We review the scope against your experience of the first four to five weeks. Anything that did not meet the written commitment gets addressed — adjusted scope, different product, additional crew time. The 30-day check-in is not optional and it is not a sales call. It is a quality review built into the program from the start.

Response Time Commitment

We are reachable Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:00pm at (866) 958-8773. Messages left outside those hours are returned by 10am the next business day. For active program clients, service issues reported by 3pm are acknowledged the same day and addressed at the next scheduled visit or sooner depending on severity.

We do not promise 24/7 response because we cannot deliver it honestly at the staffing level of a Washington County operation. The quote form stays above the fold on every page so you can document issues in writing at any hour.
